ZINE SUBSCRIPTION
During Covid I found myself looking for a creative outlet while maintaining connections with my friends so I started making monthly magazines of my life. I had seen myself get comfortable with the styles I used for different designs, always iterating back to the same colors and fonts (largely minimalistic, black and white, as you may be able to tell from this site). Thus, each zine, in addition to journaling the events of my week, also explores a different theme. Below are a couple of the spreads.

2019 Engineering Week
A taste of my more professional ventures: Hosted by the Engineering Student Activities Council (ESAC), Engineering Week is an annual event in which all organizations under ESAC are required to hold an event to provide a relaxing break for students during midterms season. This particular year was themed "sweets," where each event hosted provided a sweet treat for attending students.
A CHRISTMAS PRESENT
Having stumbled across a custom vinyl design and mixtape website, I couldn't resist not making one for one of my closest friends for whom music defines her life. The vinyl brings together the colors of the US in the 1970s and the concept of The Great Wave of Kanagawa with a structured, geometric touch -- a combination of the styles I was obsessed with at the time of making (and still am!).
